  • Looking back on our 2023 projects

Last year we spent a bit of time interviewing some of our fantastic airport partners. Valérie Chuong from Nice Airport, France (Aéroport Nice Côte d’Azur) Lutz Deubel from Hamburg Airport, Germany Philipp Ahrens from Vienna Airport, Austria (Flughafen Wien) Vera Jakobsen and Dr. Jan-Henrik Andersson from Munich Airport, Germany   Our intelligent trolleys are a free-to-use service for airside passengers. Upon scanning their boarding pass, travelers will receive real-time flight information, wayfinding features and personalized promotions. The trolleys are proven to boost passenger satisfaction and raise non-aeronautical revenue.   But enough from us, take a look at our video below to hear our airport partners explain the benefits of ITS and why they recommend our intelligent trolleys.   “The digital and dynamic pathfinding is very helpful for our PAX. [The trolleys] make a difference for our passengers and that’s the most important thing for us as an airport operator.” – Lutz   “People take them quickly, they react positively to the trolleys and even those who are not as digital native, they seem to find them very intuitive.” – Vera   “The more information [the passengers] get, the more relaxed they are and the more they are likely to spend. So, at the end of the day, it’s a win-win-win-win situation for everybody.” - Philipp   “Looking at the successes already at other airports, I really envied that progress and that success so far, so it was a must to introduce.” – Jan-Henrik   “The questionnaire shows a very high level of satisfaction. And from a shopping perspective, 1/3 of the users had shopped after seeing an advert on screen.” – Valérie   Read more about our user features here: https://www.intelligenttracksystems.com/solutions/user-features

  • Passenger benefits of the ITS trolleys

Airport passengers, did you know that the ITS trolley acts as your personal digital assistant, announcing your gate, showing you where it’s located, and telling you when it's time to board your flight? Even if there’s a last-minute gate change, you can trust that our trolley will serve you the latest information at your fingertips, and conveniently make sure you always know your updated gate number. So, just relax and enjoy the airport! The ITS trolley takes care of boosting your travel experience. Airports are often large and finding your gate can sometimes be an overwhelming and stressful experience. The ITS trolley has been designed to reduce your stress levels, providing a detailed map and clear wayfinding guidance that leads you to your gate. The tablet will be sent a notification when it's time to head to the gate, so you don't have to worry about constantly checking the flight information boards and can instead explore the airport's concessions on offer. Airports have a large range of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops to explore before your flight - but sometimes it can be a little hard to figure out where to begin... The ITS trolley map enables you to easily view all of the concessions the airport has to offer, guiding you there with ease. Looking for something in particular? With the search function, you can easily search for stores, items, and food - so you can find exactly what you're looking for and benefit from exclusive promotional offers. The Intelligent trolley takes the stress out of your airside passenger journey and allows you to make the most of all that the airport has on offer. Plus, when it's time to head to your gate, the trolley will alert you and guide you there.

  • Passengers travelling from Hamburg and Vienna airports can now use our intelligent trolleys

We just launched our Intelligent Trolley solution in Hamburg and Vienna airports in March and April, respectively. Our team of ambassadors are helping passengers discover and use the trolleys right after Security control. Our trolleys are free-of-use personal digital assistants that help travelers find their way in the airport, receive flight status updates, benefit from special deals in concessions, and much more! This makes the travel and shopping experiences simpler, more pleasant, less stressful. Data shows that non-aeronautical revenue is strongly boosted, thanks to the trolleys’ targeted call-to-action promotions, but also to increased footfall and reduced dwell time (relaxed passengers spend more time shopping).
